Teaching Evaluations
_Throughout my two semesters as a student teacher, I have been evaluated
by a master teacher 9 times. Each observation lasted about 30 minutes
and afterwards, my supervisor and I discussed the strengths and
weaknesses of the lesson. For the most part, these sessions were
immensely useful and I began to look forward to them. In the earlier
evaluations I needed to focus on classroom management while during the
later observations, management came more easily and I could focus on
teaching. Looking through these evaluations, it is clear that in these
few short months, I've rapidly improved my teaching technique.
